Saudi Arabia Leads the World in Open Data and Drives Digital Transformation

Saudi Arabia has excelled globally in the 2024 Open Government Data Index (OGDI), rising 28 positions to 41st worldwide and 9th among G20 countries.

This achievement reflects enhanced data transparency through the “data.gov.sa” platform, which provides thousands of open datasets from government entities in a searchable and usable format (Arabian Business, General Authority for Statistics, Wikipedia).
