HUMAIN & Groq Launch OpenAI Models Locally in Saudi Arabia
HUMAIN, owned by the Public Investment Fund, in partnership with Groq, has announced the first regional deployment of fully open-source OpenAI models (gpt-oss-120B and gpt-oss-20B) entirely within sovereign Saudi data centers.
These models offer high-speed performance while fully complying with sovereignty and security requirements (Financial Times, RCR Wireless News, HUMAIN).
The models operate at speeds exceeding 500 tokens/second for the smaller model and 1,000 tokens/second for the larger one (RCR Wireless News).
